(Or probably the only couple of readers out there…shout out to you mom).
First things first, thanks much for caring enough to even read this far. Continue at your own risk and know that I love yah for being here.
I have recently written several introductions and bios for applications, teachers, peers, tinder (jk…maybe), to impress a certain crowd, but this one is for me, 100% me. So this is what my instagram bio would say if I was allowed more than 20 characters.
I use parenthesis a lot because those are my thoughts that aren’t completely necessary (or relevant) but it’s just what goes on up in the good ole noggin.
I love photography but these days that is a very basic thing. Every girl who wants a decent instagram invests in a quality camera and puts it up on her instagram bio and calls herself a “photographer” so I hate saying that but I honestly, genuinely enjoy taking pics of people I love. (not self-declared models (sorry not sorry, don’t hate me but we can all put on a crop top))
I love pink. NOT hot neon pink (ughhhh the neon phase wow what a phase). It’s the shade of pink that looks like chewed bubblegum. The kind of bubblegum that has been loved and treated right, thoroughly enjoyed and chewed. It’s a sweet color and I wear it as if it was denim (can never go wrong with denim on denim)
I am a huge T swift fan. And honestly so is everybody else they just don’t like admitting it. If you don’t relate to AT LEAST two of her songs, that is your ish and I don’t know what to tell you (actually I do… this blog isn’t for you). She roasts her ex’s with no mercy (a fearless chick…I like it), she dated harry styles (I would put that on my resume) and It’s because of her that I listened to country music. If I were to ever meet her I would simply say “Hey Taylor, you looked bomb at the Billboard Music Awards back in 2015 and I just think we would be really good friends. Hit me up sometime” (then I would go home and pray that she would text me back like she prayed when she wanted “our song” to come on (kind of a stretch(shout out to those who got the reference)))
I don’t really speak the language of “school”. I was the kid who said their favorite subject was math because I didn’t want to be the kid who put recess and then got a C on the math test. (wow stressful times). So that brings me to my grammar. I have a lot of things to say and forget that people need to breathe and I totally space inserting a period or a comma (sorry I really am). Also my spelling (wheeewww my spelling) I was out of the spelling bee contest first round and let’s just say it hasn’t really improved but that’s okay. These days you just need to use one letter and people understand the vibe you are sending, and that’s all that matters.
I am a volleyball player… and I say “am” like it’s a happ’n thing. Well let me tell you, I played enough volleyball in my high school days to last me a lifetime. When I think of high school I think of the gym. It was awesome and amazing and I learned so many life lessons playing (shout out to Stacy Boer. WOW. I really didn’t like you sometimes but I wouldn’t be where I am today without ya, much love groovy lady). Like I said I loved playing ball and its something I will do forever but glad it’s over. I include that in my fancy dancy introduction because if you miss a serve on game point we can’t be friends. It’s not personal it’s just who I am.
I like skiing but sometimes it just too expensive and I would rather shop…..
OKAY THIS IS THE GOOD STUFF. I love to shop. Like I am so good at spending money (don’t worry mom I am good at making it too) but seriously I can spend it like no tomorrow. Retail therapy is a real thing and it has had an amazing impact on my life. A $300.00 swimsuit is dumb don’t get me wrong (well kinda) but it’s a piece of art work. It’s an idea, a drawing, measuring tapes, bodies, several critiques, fabulous designers, fabric specifically chosen for one design (wow what would it be like to be that fabric). All of this coming together with sweet stitching to provide the consumers with a beautiful piece of art they can wear. Wow I think I am going to splurge. (Have you seen Michael Kors new line of dresses??? Been considering taking out student loans)
Anyway, there is a lot more to me than that but that’s a decent intro and this is my blog. (I am not sure what to do with it (maybe talk about, what water bottle brand is the best, fashion, why you shouldn’t take a ballet class (probs gonna do that regardless), what I would buy if I had a million dollars, controversial topics, photography, how to find friends(idk sorry), life, lemme know whatcha wanna hear)). THANKS for sticking around, you are all sons and daughters of God and you are going places. Write some notes, put a dress on, and have a great week.
